I like the way the Lee's family built Singapore. Truly, without LKY fighting for Singapore, we'll just be another state in Malaysia. Even at his age now, 82 (this year 83) he still travels to other countries to interview and he's still learning. Someone may be good in studies but end up a 'bookworm'/'nerdy', not a good leader. Leadership is not s'thing you can get by reading books, it needs experience, wisdom, good communication skills to reach different levels of ppl etc. So to the threadstarter, not ALL Singaporeans wants George Yeo as PM.

If you've been to the States or have American friends, you'd know that Negro/Nigga is a derogatory term.At the extreme, only African Americans use these terms amongst themselves, but that's an issue for the sociology majors to debate, which is neither you nor I. -

So far, the only next generation PMs i'd support is Khaw Boon Wan or Vivian Balakrisnan.
They are the only real ministers who admit to certain failings of the cabinet and work towards changes.
The rest make no real effort to engage in open and useful discussion with the younger generation, making them look all the more aloof the longer they stay perched in their ivory towers.
Or pehaps, with one eye on the upcoming GE, they are relying solely on the people of their generation to secure the appropriate mandate.
Whatever the reasons, they have forgotten that it is the PEOPLE, not the PAP that make up Singapore.
