I vote for TCH. Big, tall, smart and down to earth. When I was in the Navy, he once made a tour to our ship and he actually roll up his sleeves, went down to the engine room to talk to the engineers. He was a full colonel then. -

When a group of "SELECTED PERSONS" are chosen from a subjective standard of political yardstick, and are expected to pick from another group of a "FEW PRIVILEGED ONES" - the entire process will leave out others who are more talented, but do not happen to be in the same basket of the "few privileged ones".

i have no say as to who should be the next PM but if you ask me to name a good minister i would give my vote to teo chee hean.
what i like most about him is that he has no airs and relates to the people as equals.
there was a period of time i was most impressed with george yeo, his eloquency that is. but he turned out to be mostly hot air. -
