I personally dont think you can find a better city than singapore. Singapore is one the the best place to live and party. Do you agree?

Singapore very convenient and safe.
I like US but don't like the security and cold. You can get screwed or mugged just walking down the street.
I once went drinking with strangers in a pub and they took me for a ride. The next day I told my colleagues about it and they were shocked! -

cost of living is relative but the beauty of Singapore is that you dont have to live in the city if you choose not to. Is there any country where everything is perfect? A perfect paradise?
And if there is one, wouldn't everyone flock there and ruin the place and it would no longer be perfect anymore?
What I am trying to say is that it's the same everywhere. Just like in any thing, any country can never be perfect. It would be good in some ways and be a tough act to follow nevertheless.
Just appreciate the good, minimise the experience with the bad, and enjoy life - it is short anyway. -

If you are a season traveller - whether to the US or Timbuctoo, you should know better then to be drinking with strangers, AND thereafter allowing these strangers to take you for a ride.
If you are 'screwed' or 'mugged' by these American 'strangers' - we should not be seeing your participation in this thread.

To their credit, the PAP have successfully transformed our island state and recognized our most valuable talent - manpower.
The downside is that they have also created a place choke full of laws that come close to strangulation and a constitution which they amend at will. We are certainly a SAFER city for it. But a 'best' place to party? Unlikely. -
