For the last FORTY YEARS, the Ruling Party a.ka. the Singapore Government DID NOT LISTEN to any ALTERNATIVE VIEWS, and had clamped down on all kinds of potential and potent opposition, resulting in a TOTALY FREE HAND in a POLITICAL MONOPOLY to govern Singapore as they pleased.

If the Ruling Party had listened to the professional advise in the 1960s, the Family Planning Policy would not have been implemented in such an enthusiastic manner; and LKY need not apologise for his mistake in pushing this Family Policy so vigorously, which resulted in the current problem of Singapore facing a decline in population.
With your attitude of an ignoramus and pseudo intellect displayed , should we continue with the other lists of issues, which the Ruling Party a.k.a the Singapore Government refused to listen over the last FORTY YEARS ?
By any INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS, the Ruling Party should be embarrassed by winning every elections since 1965, when they have abused the trust of all Singaporeans.
Did they even truly win in any MORALLY FAIR WAY - when they fixxed the election boundaries at the last minute that only cause confusion to the population, and FIXXING the election process by enlarging the GRC - from four to six ?
The Leadership of the Ruling Party is so INSECUREof their own winning streak that they even contemplate the idea of giving TWO VOTES to every Senior Citizens, whom they believe are more supportive of their program - but the leadership in the Ruling Party "chicken out" , as they probably found out that the Senior Citizens has the biggest gripe against the Ruling Party
If all the critics are in the minority within the population, why did the Ruling Party have sleepless nights in manipulating and bending the Rules - (in kid's language of HONESTY - it is CHEATING
) - that put them in a more favorable position than the Opposition ?
If the leadership in the Ruling Party is so confident that the critics are a minority in the population, why did they even bother to enlarge the GRCs from FOUR constituencies to SIX in ONE GROUP ?

I don't believe my teacher's case is a standalone case. There are a lot more cases out there.
Just take my RC for example. There is a suggestion box and I see a lot of suggestions being put forth. But I have not seen any changes being implemented.
Nowadays, the suggestion box is still there, but not as many suggestions as it used to have because none of them are being considered.
And how many of the suggestions in newspapers have been considered? You call this listening? Even if they are being implemented, it's like years later then they are implemented. The increase in speed limit is one example. The government took donkey years to increase it. -

However, I agree with sgdiehard that you answer questions with more questions. While you definitely go in circles to answer us, it is still evident that you are still at the circumference of the circle and have no intent of entering the circle to answer our questions.
