"Hao3 Nan2 Yao4 Dang1 Bing1" or "Hao3 Nan2 Bu4 Dang1 bing1"?

saw an article on Lianhe Zaobao on the pianist (i forgot his name but his surname was Tan), 40+ years old liao, when he reached 18 he escaped from NS and he paid 3000 dollars fine for that.
Then there is another article by a reporter of Lianhe Zaobao titled "Hao3 Nan2 Yao4 Dang1 Bing1", which means that good men should go to army. He does not support the idea of "Hao3 Nan2 Bu4 Dang1 bing1" which means that good men should not go to the army.
So, "Hao3 Nan2 Yao4 Dang1 Bing1" or "Hao3 Nan2 Bu4 Dang1 bing1"? What do you all think?
I think that "Hao3 Nan2 Yao4 Dang1 Bing1"...

It all depends on what kinda soldier the country makes of you.
If the country makes their soldiers shoot unarmed protestors like tianamen, then its no good to be a soldier.
If the country trains its soldiers to defend the country and freedom, thats a good soldier. -
I still look at National Service as a training ground to make milk drinking boys into beer drinking adults.
Most guys will agree with me that NS has made them more manly. Ask any gal between 18 to 23, whether they like men who been through NS a not?
You like it or not, guys go through a change in their life in NS. We become more mature, since " With great powers comes great responsiblities".
Just to side track a bit, I was very suprise in my last ICT. Even though I was transfered to another platoon, me and my new platoon mates still fight side by side with the kind of coordination that only years of training could achieve. I think this is due to the standardized training programe that we all went through even though at different time. Incredible... since these guys are 5 years my junior....

Army training is a challenge for some people, but if you can overcome it, you can overcome other big obstacles in life. -

I really hate my mum for not signing me up for music(piano, violin etc) when i'm young. If they did, by now i would have already developed my music talents. See, now i'm gonna serve NS because of my mum. How i wish i can pay 3K and stay out of this place. I really like other country. peace.

So far i have not seen any evidence or photo or video supporting your idea. Therefore it is unfair to conclude that the communists covered up the issue.
