Malaysia depends on China and Singapore depends on USA?

yesterday nite on a taxi the driver chit chat with me and he said talked a lot about politics.
he told me chinese is now important in malaysia and not so important in singapore as Malaysia depends on China and Singapore depends on USA. I find his point weird as i never heard ppl sae so.
what do u think? -

Malaysia is probably the only country in the world that still practises negative affirmative action as a matter of goverment policy against minorities .... what do you think ? ...
maybe at the grassroots level many malaysian chinese are starting to think this way ... but at the goverment level ? ... no way ... -

Well.. sigh.. Sarawak n Sabah should've joined SG when u guys broke off.. read the history ppls... sigh.. i give it 20 YRS before the 90% Bumi policy is fully implemented... We are still 3rd Class citizens next to Ibans , Dayaks n shiet.

asia chinese magazine reported that as at 2004 there are 300k mainland chinese living in singapore.

You believe your teacher when she says that we have 'the most advanced weapons in the world'? Do you think we have nuclear ICBMs, stealth bombers and aircraft carriers? Hogwash, I say. It'll be hell for any enemy to conquer us, but they can really give us a bloody nose if they want to. I agree that we can't depend on alliances, but it'll still be good to have them anyway. Better have 10% chance of someone else helping us than 0%, I say.
It's extremely narrow-minded to judge that alliances are useless based merely on the experiences of WWI. Just over twenty years later in WWII the Allied armies of France, UK, US and the others rose to defeat Hitler. In 1999 the NATO alliance bombed Yugoslavia in the Kosovo War. -
Thats totally absurd! I do not think that Malaysia depends on China but there are rumours going around suggesting that the SAF is there to "hold the enemy" until the US Navy's 7th fleet arrive and "resuce" Singapore. I do not mean to offend anyone but it sounds rather humourous.
