  what other political parties are there in singapore?

  Actually, there are more than 20 political parties who with the Registry of Societies. There is also the Democratic Alliance (SDA), a coalition of four opposition groups, namely the Singapore People's Party (SPP), National Solidarity Party (NSP), Justice Party (JPS) and Singapore Malays National Organisation (PKMS).

  not forgetting the SDP, which was once a major political party, but now under Chee Soon Juan, its in disarray..

  when sdp under chiam, they won potong pasir, nee soon central and bt gombak in 1991 ge. when chee took over after kicking out chiam, sdp lost nee soon and bt gombak in 1997 ge. (potong pasir kept by chiam under his own party after he left sdp). sdp never won anything since.
