Nice to have clowns who duno when they are being mocked around. Your welcome.Originally posted by Salman:First of all, I thank you for inventing a new word out of me name, I take it as a compliment.
Secondly, what did you do to help the poor. I helped with tuition for kids and help em apply for grants.
Well, I guess that justifies the million dollar salary and the lack of transparency in the govt. Glad you cleared things up.Originally posted by Salman:i do it for free. I helped, you people don't do much.
Apparently you must be hallucinating that other people don't contribute.Originally posted by Salman:i do it for free. I helped, you people don't do much.
If we tell him how we contribute, he claims that we are whining. If we do not inform him, he assumes that we do nothing for the country.Originally posted by Nelstar:Apparently you must be hallucinating that other people don't contribute.![]()

Coming from the same guy that believes our 2 PDF can thrash an active standing army...
Where did you draw the hypothesis that we did not help? And on what grounds do you reach the conclusion that we're spineless?Originally posted by Salman:You see, you whiners who didn't help cannot answer for your hypocrisies.
Thats the whole problem with singaporeans today. No back bone.
Still avoiding my questions. Spineless and brainless.Originally posted by Salman:You see, you whiners who didn't help cannot answer for your hypocrisies.

What evidence, Salman?Originally posted by Salman:The evidence is all over this forum. A bunch of good for nothin whiners who cry abt the poor but don't lift a finger to help.
Thats why whiners add to problems nad not solve problems, unlike me.
The problem is whether people accept it or not.Originally posted by Salman:Its ok to give feedback, but put your hands to help too. Its always easy to blame others. Such whiners are cheaper than dirt.
It's either we whine to get to something done or we shut up and take one step at a time. Just like the NTUC case. Some agents whine and got what they want, some quit and the others shut up and see how the situation before they think they want to quit or continue.Originally posted by Salman:Riling and whining isn't the same thing. Good try but better luck next time buddy.
The more yu people whine about singapore, the more i prove me point.
We need to get to the root of the problem me friends.
Change the whining culture among young Singaporeans! That is the number problem in Singapore today.

three sentences that deals with the root of singapore's problems. Whiners who are negative and don't do or contribute much all their lives. Its a wasted life.
In retrospect, Salman has provided a 3-liner manifesto:
which offers little more than VAGUE EXPRESSION and promises empty debate. There are no specifics, no in-depth focus, only the same 'salmanism' prevalent in all his posts.
I agree with your opinion. But the title of the topic is not quite appropriate.Originally posted by Salman:We need to get to the root of the problem me friends.

I don't whine over nothing or over wrong things. I write based on experience and how I view the situation. Whether my world is dark or not, is not the main problem. Stick to the topic.Originally posted by Salman:The problem is, you whine over nothing or you whine over the wrong things most of the time, and you do nothing but whine.
If there are enough folks like you, Singapore will collapse.
Your world view is dark and dim all around while mine is bright and optimistic.

I do things for the people of Singapore outside of PAP and I never had any problems with the govt.
What have you done?

Ok then, hotshot, what are these things which you have done 'for the people of Singapore outside of PAP'?Originally posted by Salman:I do things for the people of Singapore outside of PAP and I never had any problems with the govt.

THAT'S IT!!!!!!!
Personally, I'm not ashamed to say that I have voted for the PAP in the two elections that I got to vote in the past.
Today, was glad that WP came out with their manifesto revealed when election date has not been announced yet.
Was looking forward excitedly to see more robust debate between PAP & WP, when Dr Ng fired the first salvo in criticising WP manifesto as "time bombs".
Since then, a few ministers including PM LHL have came out to criticise WP with sweeping remarks with more labelling such as "dangerous" "poison" without actually going into the specifics.
Was greatly disappointed that our leaders today are acting just like our beloved salman in this forum, by throwing a one, three or five liners with some mud-slinging at oppositions without the need to substantial their opinion or views with facts or proofs so far.
If those are the "calibre" of our present leaders in paliament, meaning NATO, I think regardless of who (PAP or OPP) I voted into the paliament in the next election, will not make much different to my life staying in Singapore. Though I must admit that I don't believe (based on PAP past track record in government) my life will improve (god forsake not deteriorate) further at all even if PAP do win all the 84 seats in the coming election.
My "FEELING" is that PAP is no more a pro-citizen party anymore but an organisation whose task is to go all out to "squeeze" as much from its citizen, thus "enriching" themselves "profitability" while mouthing that they are here to "serve" the people of Singapore.
Finish my whinings here, thanks to salman, for pushing me to see more clearly of the PAP "calibre" people in their political "mission" of "serving" the people, I have decided my vote (if I do get to vote again) will go to any Tom, Dick or Henry (not Harry
) candidate except PAP.
Will I live to regret my decision?
YES! If PAP turned out to be the kind of political party that I "vision" it to be!
Then I will be "living" in "hell", looking at how the PAP government had "FAIRLY & EQUALLY" treated our FELLOW SINGAPOREAN residing in Potong Pasir, as example.
