Right after 97, I realised how important NS was and I took it very seriously after that.
It happen in every country where the powerful abuse the law, and become the Law.
What is the difference in Singapore ?
Instead of bashing people up, they use the INTERNAL SECURITY ACT and get some goons to do the job for them.
If they want to look good, they will use the Inland Revenue to check your tax returns.
Alternatively, they can bankrupt you in any manner they like with a Judiciary System where the judges are not permanently assigned to their position but will need their contract renewed on regular reviews.
Time to wake up from your self-delusionary image of a "SWITZERLAND" in the equator - as Singapore will always be Singapore and can never resemble any iota of Switzerland, not with a Government in the hands of your beloved Ruling Political Party.
