if the muslim immigrants are so dissatisfied with the west why dont they just move back to where they all came from...come to a foreign land you obey the rules not change the rules to suit you. sure there are good hardworking migrants but for the lazy, radical, trouble-making ones they should all be mass deported.

When some cartoons of mohd were published in the european newspapers, the muslims really go crazy. Is their faith in their religion so thin and fragile that they are so sensitive to any form of criticism? Or is this violent knee-jerk reaction a consequence of inferiority complex?

The thing is, anti-western sentiments has been implanted in the minds of the muslins since they are young. The anti-western mindset can be traced back to the beginnings of the middle east conflict. The invasion of Iraq further exacerbated the volatile relationship between these 2 factions.
I ever attended a class where there was a class debate between the roles of the US and UN. Once the US was mentioned by a caucasian student, 3 Indonesian Muslim students sprang up from their seats and kept shouting bout the US being devils, etc. The class was disrupted for 3 minutes.

I once watched this documentary a forumer asked me to watch, where some Palestinians try to discredit the Israeli military by realeasing a video of a Palestinian father and son being shot by the Israeli soldiers to death
In the documentary, the video was systematically being exposed as a fraud to discredit the Israelis. What is irksome is that, when the Palestinian cameraman who took the video was confronted on television interviews, he could not support his claims that the video was real, and he was bloody adamant about it

It also says that the defining line is belief in Allah which most of the world do not. So in effect the Quran is saying that most people in the world are apes and pigs by default.

How can you make all those connection?
The reference in the verse is obviously to some who acted in a mischievous manner towards God, His messages, and Messengers. The rationale behind cursing some for their sinful stances and deeds could be gradually unfolded if you read through the preceding verses which give the meaning of:
"O you who believe! do not take for guardians those who take your religion for a mockery and a joke, from among those who were given the Book before you and the unbelievers; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah if you are believers. And when you call to prayer they make it a mockery and a joke; this is because they are a people who do not understand. Say: O followers of the Book! do you find fault with us (for aught) except that we believe in Allah and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed before, and that most of you are transgressors?" 5: 57-59
Notice, "most" were referred to among those who made mockeries.
So what is worse in retribution for the mockings? 5:60 "Worse is he whom Allah has cursed and brought His wrath upon, and of whom He made apes and swine, and he who served the Shaitan; these are worse in place and more erring from the straight path."
I don't see Allah calling any certain group apes or swines. It is again descriptive in the language that "monkeys" - people behaving thoughtlessly and pigs - people neither bashful nor shy of wicked acts.
These verses should be interpreted in the context of the whole chapter, and the whole issue should be understood in the framework of the whole book and the historical facts. The prophet Muhammad himself had the similar problem as when Jesus, bringing his completing message, wasn't accepted and mocked the same.So why don't you follow the teachings of Buddha?
Praciticing humanity, goodwill and rationality isnt a Buddhist or Muslim or any religious cause. O__o. I've said before, in every nation there was sent a messenger.
