LKY sucks,when it is time for him to retire n enjoy his life,he dont want to do that.Instead,he hold on the post n continue to take taxpayers money n keep talking rubbish like what "Western democracy is not suitable in Singapore or Asia blah blah blah".What does he trying to say,we Asians are not human?No need to eat,no need to sleep,no need to have sex?

Lets not take LKY contribution for granted. You have to know that when this man talk, everybody listen and why should you ask for his retirement when is doing good for the country? -

no one's taking him for granted nor asking him to retire. all we're questioning is his rationale for staying in office. if concern for the nation is his ultimate purpose, then salary shouldn't matter, so serving for an allowance rather than a full salary wouldn't be inappropriate ... especially if he truly feels for his struggling subjects. -
I still prefer LKY era, where they are really building up Singapore. And it is one of the cleanest government around. No peanuts and monkey buisness around.

I have been to so many countries already, and one thing for sure, any businessman who has dealing with singapore will know who is LKY. Some even have LKY biography. If nobody like listening to LKY, then why is he always invited to be guest speaker at overseas business conference? Maybe you have no interested in international business and policy, thats why whatever LKY say it has no meaning to you. -
