I believe it's unfair for Wei Ling to criticize kind hearted Singaporeans who, with good intentions wanted to help relieve or lessen the sufferings of the families that were affected by tragedies. Yet, her skewed perspective is one of a material life, whereby if it does not make financial sense to donate money, then you shouldn't donate. Sometimes, in life, things donÂ’t seem to follow logical order. If someone has the power to help, the power to pay $10 million dollars for a car that is worth only $1 million dollars, then it's his or her right to do so. It's foolish for anyone to believe that they have the wisdom or intelligence to judge the actions of other men without first understand the facts and the position of the other. And may I add, it's so easy to criticize others when one does not have to scope to see deep beneath oneself and others.
