If Im not wrong, the source of Islamic teaching is not only the Qur'an but also the Haditz. Im not sure whether it's the only other source. Not sure also if it's stated in Haditz instead or not.

Are you giving up already? Were you taught the same thing since young that you cannot have Muhamad on pics? Did you ask where in the Quran does it say that?
What did your islamic schorlars say? That they heard it from others as well and they didn't bother to ask?
I have said it and I will say it again, most Muslims do not bother to study their Quran. They allow blokes to interpret their religion for them w/o question. -

There is no Quranic injunction against images, whether of Muhammad or anyone else. When it spread into the Levant, Islam came into contact with a version of Christianity that was militantly iconoclastic.
