this is absolutely true. Popultion greying is a global problem. Most countries find this a burden because they are looking after the aged. Singapore's educational system "moulded" the children to be "kiasu/kaisee" type of people. You can see the difference from Hong Kong as people there dare to demonstrate whereas Singaporeans DON'T even dare to say bad things about the government as they risk being sued for slander/libel. What sort of democracy is this? -
