  I demand that the mods reopen all threads on the upcoming elections. I think its not only absurd to close discussion worthy threads but plain annoying. How would you like it If I force you to talk about MM Lee while the rest are discussing about the WP?
  
  You mods are not the one discussing and thats why you dont feel annoyed. Maybe the mods lack the ability to discuss political issues?
  
  If you want the place to be neat, you can always clean up after 6th of May like what ditzy suggested.
