The Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC dilemma..Wong Kan Seng's headache?

With Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC beyond the legal limit of its 5-member team, what are the options open to him?
1. Increase the team to 6 members
2. Annex neighbouring GRCs and wards to mix and match the right number of voters.
Ironically, it states that a 6-member GRC must have at least 102,000 voters, but dare not take the plunge and implement a MAJORITY REQUIREMENT during elections of the total number of 102,000, even if the team is unchallenged by another political party.
This open election process will allow the Ruling party to have a clearer picture of the TRUE mandate rather than glossed over statistics and delusions of support, especially from walkovers. -
Is there a limit on how many voters a 5-member GRC must have? How come I didn't know about it?

What is the voter limit that each type of constituency must have:
- SMC
GRC (5 members)
GRC (6 members) -
SMC is 20000. the rest i not sure.
If the want to know whether to expand our GRC(ya i live in that GRC) or let it be absorbed, why not conduct a referendum? its the best way to see the people's will and will also let them score points on democracy. -
What dilemma? Just change the rule to the game. 7..8...MP to the GRC.

Change the rule? Yes!
But not into a super GRC of 6,7 or 8 MPs.
Solution:
Pasir Ris GRC - 3 MPs GRC
Ponggol - SMC
Sengkang - SMC
or
Ponggol-Sengkang GRC - 3 MPs GRC
Problem solved! Right?

Ponggol and Sengkang are indeed new towns with a younger set of Singaporean residing there.
If PAP wins there, be it as a SMC or GRC, then they can proudly proclaim they DO have the mandate from the majority of Singaporean to govern our lives again.
Would PAP dare to use Ponggol-Sengkang as a test bed of their popularity? -
The day is soon approaching for atleast for more than one GRC to fall, will it be at this election?

Nee Soon East has almost 30000 residents eligible to vote.
