In the guise of helping economic development this 2 organisations has screwed several countries.
If you read again,they are not afraid of the consequences,but protesting against the inhumanitarian punishment of caning.
While you may not care about what the IMF and the World Bank does,they do.
We have to care about domestic and foreign affairs.
Reason being that,if someone is suffering from a particular foreign policy/organisation or corporation,we should find a way to express our outrage.
I know some people wouldnt give a hoot about other people's sufferings.
But I do.
