Can our ministers dont interfere Taiwan n China affair?

Our government keep siding Communist China n flaming Taiwan for moving towards independent from China.But they have forget one thing,that is the PAP cant even manage well our country n yet they poke their nose into other countries affair.
Perhaps Goh Chok Tong,Lee Kuan Yew n Lee Hsien Loong can act like a big fark in their country,but once they step out of this "tiny little island",They are "nothing"!!!No one would give a fark of what they say or who they are,they must be very clear of that after being screw in the @ss for so many years from other countries ministers!!!
So the next time before they want to flame other countries like Taiwan,pls take a mirror n look into it,how good are they? -

If Singapore dun want other country to interfere with our policies, they should not be involved in commenting the actions taken by the taiwanese government as they are not in the same position.
It is not constructive and ruin the relationship between Singapore and Taiwan.
Or else we are just adhering to what the taiwan foreign minister have commented about Singapore.
Singapore is too well managed like NKF.
Where all cost are inflated to increase the reserves.
(NB: The public housing have lost its basic aim in providing affordable housing)
Where the executives are highly paid and the employee slogged like slaves.
Where the accounts are never transparent.
Where executives think that giving money to people is a sin.
Sometimes, I really feel sad for the founding father that have created Singapore.
Esp the true meaning of the Singapore Pledge.

In SEA, they are something. In fact, they are one of the more influential or if not the most influential leaders. Eg, in Indonesia. Leaders such as SBY do pay attention on what Singapore leaders has to say...
Also... even though i do not support the PAP... But i have to say that they are managing Singapore very well... Look at SEA and Singapore's wealth and you will know. Not to mention about rich indonesian businessmen all keeping their wealth in Singapore
Regarding Taiwan... Singapore should stay out of the affair between PRC and ROC. It is not their problem and they shouldn't "kay poh". -
I think it is wiser to keep quiet than to make people burn singapore flags or accuse us like the gold in the nose or what so ever. Any way who is the real person who claimed that Singapore was regret about the issue? I don't see all Singaporean have that view. How can this person use the name of Singapore to express such an unwise comment to another nation? If he who want to express it, he should dare to stand out and use his own name not using singapore name.

regarding taiwan n PRC issue.....well......me personally tink though singapore hav voiced out dat dey r in support fer the One-China Policy, well dey shldnt interfere too much.......
......i dun agree dat PAP cant manage our country well.....nobody is perfect but i tink dey hav done quite well le.... -

In foreign policy, there are some issues on which a state has to take a stand, as sitting on the fence would be detrimental or useless to the state's interest compared to siding with one or the other. This is the case with the Taiwan issue. Simply put, if we want to do business in China, we have to side with them over Taiwan. China is too big a fish to snub for the likes of a small fry like Taiwan.
It's true that we do not want other countries to interfere in our politics. But neither do we interfere in the politics of Taiwan nor China. We do not tell them what they should do; we merely give our comments and state our stand on the matter as clearly as possible. I think our handling of the matter has been excellent so far, giving us quite a bit of credit in the region regarding this issue. Just look at the uproar over PM Lee's visit to Taiwan some months back, and see how it shows that what we do is taken seriously by both parties. Hence our leaders cannot afford to sit back and watch the show, but must handle the matter carefully, which so far we've managed to do pretty decently. -
Our leaders have more clout overseas than in SG.
Furthermore, we do have some influence in the region.After all, we are the only other independant Republic with a Chinese majority, after Taiwan.Soon, we might be the last..
and it's important that we emphasise more on our Singaporean heritage, and not constantly emphasising the different races instead of attempting to build a common identity.
The reason why China thinks we can be subtly pressured might be due to the fact that we have become accustomed to mainland Chinese immigration.This cannot be allowed to continue, lest the mainland think they can pressure us over issues.
We hold to our own interests, and that is final.Taiwan is our friend too, and yet we cannot afford to piss China off, realistically.A tight balancing act? Oh Definitely. -

Whoever we will side, or not side with, we have to bear in mind that we are part of South East Asia, and we have an unspoken duty as the premier security stabiliser in this region to be wary of how we react. -

hmm if theres gonna be a war, i tink its very likely to be after the 2008 Olympics cos the Chinese hav been preparing for them for quite a while. Anyway experts predict tt the Taiwan defense would last at the most a week b4 succumbing to the chineses.

Some forumers say that our goverment are actually quite influential overseas,at least in SEA.No offence here,but i dont think so.Our newspaper also state from our ministers point of view n always report in the way "as if our ministers are very influential overseas".
But let us not forget,our news media is controlled by who,i dont think i need to ellaborate any further,do i? -

Actually no matter who become Taiwan president,whether is it Chen Shui Pian or Ma Ying Jiu or any other person,as long as mainland China is still under communist rule,there is no hope that Taiwan n China will unify again.Becoz those countries that taste democracy,will never go back to dictatorial rules again.There is even a danger that Taiwan will eventually break off from Mainland China if China still implement communism in future.

I pray that war starts and taiwan takes over the whole of PRC...then doing business with democratic China would be so much better and i can than say that i support 'one-china' policy
