Human Rights, if it exists in Singapore, we wouldn't have such things as the bluddy CPF. Which is basically your own hard earned money, but you can't spend it as you wish.
If you're looking for Human Rights here, you'd be better off trying to dig for diamonds in Singapore! -

If got human right, reduce NS to 1year. We will have more talent, and we need not employ foreign talent. If we have more talent, they will invent things like UAVs or make the war zone like a 3G network. If this really happened, I thing the number of singaporean migrating to other countries will will decrease drastically. Back to the drawing board, 1 year of NS means nothing to a student, they'll just treat it like another academic year. In my opinion, Army is a more horrible place than School/ Jail.

National Service is just a nice term for involuntary servitude. Singapore isn't anymore democratic than authoritarian.

Human rights? If there is, it will be abused by ppl to get back at some ppl.
Basic consitutional & survival rights, yes, like entitled to food ,water, shelter, medical treatment.
Human rights? what the hell is it?
I think it is created by those who wan to get things the way they wan...ppl who shouts "I have my rights!"
No need to queue when I have to collect something?
right to take come in as and wehn I wan as I felt I deserve to have it as my right?
welfare for those who dun wan to work?
Person who rob & killed your family members for money still entitled to get Gov cash payouts?
Police cannot check on ppl loitering near your house and peeping into your house?
Garment cannot remove ppl who are nuisance to your society?
Freedom of speech? Ppl can bad mouth and criticise you and family?

^The examples you cite have nothing to do with human rights. Human rights are issues like death sentence and compulsory National Service (or involuntary servitude).
