PUB pipes in Johor relocated for 1 yr

While Sg has been assured that '' only soil studies are being conducted'' ,
the PUB water pipes have been relocated for one year and it seems
pilings have been started for the crooked bridge.
Has Sg been cheated??

BRIDGES COMPONENTS
The project also consists of the construction of road and railway bridges to replace the Causeway. The removal ofthe Causeway will be followed by the dredging of a navigation channel to allow passage of vessels.
RELOCATION OF WATER MAINS
Existing Water Mains, which are routed along Jalan Bukit Chagar, have been relocated to facilitate the construction of the CIQ Complex, while the Water Mains along Jalan Jim Quee have been relocated to facilitate the construction of JB Sentral and internal roads. In addition to the diversion of the major Water Mains, other SAJ Water Mains serving the surrounding areas have also been diverted and upgraded to serve the additional needs of the Integrated CIQ Complex and ancillary buildings.
The Water Mains running along the Causeway will be replaced with submarine pipes, and where necessary, the pipes will be protected by armour protection units. Cathodic protection will be applied to the submarine pipes to prevent corrosion.

Speaking in Johor Bahru on Thursday,Malaysia's Deputy Minister of Works Mohd Zin Mohamed says Malaysia has symbolically launched construction works of the 'scenic bridge' which is expected to be operational by April 2009.

"The bridge will be built with a gradient of only 4.25 per cent, but high enough for navigational purposes.
"We have set aside a buffer zone which will be two metres before the international boundary. This means the bridge will join the Malaysian side of the Causeway just before the boundary." -
We should put up signboards on our side of the bridge:
"Wasting your vehicle fuel - Welcome to Malaysia's Crooked Bridge!"
It's their territory to build their crooked bridge without finalising things, so we should do the same. After all, "this is our land, and we should be able to do what we want with it," quoting Malaysian nationalists. -
I think both sides already agreed not to talk through medias and
not to disclose data prematurely.How come :"In principle, there have been several agreements achieved. Now we need to go into the details and make the agreements final," Bernama quoted Malaysian Foreign Minister Syed Hamid Albar as saying in Malaysia's Johor state bordering Singapore.
It is bad to have this kind of negotating opponent and other

This thing is so sensitive. In WW2 the jap bomb bridge and railway as a excuse to war. Is the M trying to do the same. Destroy the bridge and cut our water supply.
