Gd that more people can go poly.
Bad- this mean more and more diploma holders...
Hence existing Diploma holder ur diploma gonna be toilet paper liao. cos bo value le.
the whole singapore will be cover by dip holders.
Also those now in ITE will be
some just enter nia....then wish u be younger a bit and escape the ITE stage....
more diploma holder not = higher standards but = lower stds....

degree like tissue papers -
1st class honour like better brand de tissue.
Master like box tissue
PHD like SK2 facial tissue -
and i ask people, why study?
the reason is because everyone is joining the rat race. -
since like tat the govt should axe off the secondary stage. since our kids build rebots also. skip secondary school.
primary school dun teach science lah. teach phy/bio/ chem. teach Math & A math together. at 13 go direct poly. 16 start Uni. so before 21...get a degree ...
then can fight with overseas mah.... -

last time my ex boss very proud to tell people he primary 6 but his staff all degree & poly holders -
well, education and owning the paper gives you a 'status'.

problem now is that education has created a 'cushion' for people and they have expectations which are not entitled to them in the first place. why do they have those expectations? because they have 'higher' education. -
