If my memory don't fail me...
before GCT took over as PM, there was a constitutional amendment allowing the position of Senior Minister.
But as best i can recall there was no amendment to allow for Minister Mentor.
Anyone can correct me if i am wrong? -

I thought the age of retirement in Singapore is 65? How old is minister mentor?

they "created" more ranks so that the PAP will be in full force...one less man= one less person to defend the PAP front
