If you think NS is equivalent to army training, then you're too myopic.
"NS" is about sacrificing to give duty to the country, service to the people. For most young lads, it's army.
When you have a woman wanting to be a full-fleged minister, what sacrifice has she given in duty and service to the country and people in her own way?
How can she talk about becoming a full-fleged minister when she has poor track record?
There have been just too many female MPs who come on board to serve their own careers! -

Speaking of which, who are our female mp's in Singapore? I only know got recently got 2 female mp on tv. (about the election, blah) What did they contribute to their ppl in their GRC? can someone tell me? -
i'll just say this, if it really purely based on merits and ability i would say thats fine. but if it were to be for gender equality then i would say please do not bring in this crap to handicap us, thank you.
