Call it what you will, but the fact that Singaporeans have found jobs in all parts of the world is testimony to its success. Not too long ago, one of the dons in Oxford University said that he would prefer to take a student from Singapore than some of the local British students from state schools because the Singaporean has a record of doing better.. -

Singaporeans are like domestic fowls kept in a farm factory. They're protected from foxes but in return their entire life just goes towards being used for someone else's gain.
I would rather go out and live in the wild and face the fox. At least I am free and I can live for myself. Facing the fox does not necessary mean death. Staying in the factory farm IS certain death. -

And please. stop attributing individual successes with singapore. Go talk to many who have left sg for jobs elsewhere in the world, i doubt they would like to attribute their success too much to the system that did not support them, that repulsed them and only drove them away, that laughed and jeered at them for leaving singapore to get jobs elsewhere. Claiming credit for other's own success when the sg system had fark all to do with it? how cheap.

At 24 may be is a dream to most,
At 30 may be is a wish to some,
At 35 will be a nightmare to few.
6Cs, I wouldn't say all, only to those that have the abilities and lucky enough.
Holiday, relaxing, I would not mind. (maybe no europe that often) twice yearly also can..
Nice car, if affortable, else taking merc is easier.
Earning how much may be a dream to everyone, but given how much can be a nightmare to most.
Very subjective, depended really what you going after life. For you, 6Cs may be priority, for me, I know what is needed..

As for thise who would rather emigrate, there is nothing to stop them from leaving, provided others want them. In fact, if they cannot succeed in Singapore, it might be better for the country that they leave and not contribute to the social problems at home. -

Everything about sg's system is to serve its 'leaders' 1st and the people 2nd.
Staying in sg is just like living in a chicken farm factory. U're cooped up, not given the freedom to develop as an individual. U grow according to the plan your masters have for you. U're fed and protected from outside predators but only because its to your master's own advantage, and ultimately u sacrifice so THEY can get richer and fatter.
U can continue seeing those who leave as quitters but how many of u have the guts to be a wild chicken and rsk the fox and live and die for yourself and no one else?
