Biased Moderators

I find that the moderators here are pretty biased. They do not allow free speech and close topics at will. For example they close all the muslim topics by Salman without question and they even threaten to ban people like Yi Peng. What do you think dear logical people? Are we going to allow tyranny to exist here? Are we going to allow dictatorship in a democratic forum? Are we to allow moderators to have favorites like Atobe to run free rein here? Please comment.

Looking at your posts, I also think that you are biased. And for God's sake, your signature indicates that you are really biased. For putting such a signature and putting another person's nickname doesn't speak well of you.

If you refer to those threads started by Salman, the Moderators have even allowed it to develop to the point when it became obvious the ACTUAL INTENT of the thread, when one observe the very intelligent and subtle manner Salman was leading the discussions towards a certain direction.
Are the Moderators deaf to our individual voices in this forum ?
Personally, compared to other forums, those who are moderating this Speakers' Corner has done a great job to allow everyone to have fun while exercising our minds.
They responded to the suggestion that not all threads that make oblique references to the NKF issue, should be transplanted to a special thread for the NKF.
To be fair to the Moderators, I do not think that the Moderators have any favorites as I have also been told to rein in my waywardness - and thankfully so - as each of us hold certain topics dear to our hearts, and-or have some tendency to be more shrill in the choice of words - ( my apologies to everyone or anyone for any sore feelings caused - Salman or 'Fish Cake' Yi Peng included ) .
If the Moderators have been tyranical as Moderators, this Speakers' Corner will soon die a natural death, but it seems that the server is taking a little longer to respond during the 'peak hours' - which clearly show that more keyboards are logging on. -

Come on give moderators a break. They need to take responsibility and answer to the authority if a topic is being complaint.
They are taking a more careful approach unless they know you personally. -

Compared to many other forums i.e hardware zone, delphi, CNA etc the range of topics in SC is significant, and the patience of moderators, expecially towards decidedly 'political' threads has been measured, not rash or arrogant. -

you cant say they are biased..You can only think it in a way that everybody has different tolerance level? What might be tolerable to you, may not be to the moderators.
Being a moderator, you have to think whether the topic is suitable for most people as a whole, and not to individual...So he/she can satisfy 90% forumers, but there are still 10% who will not be happy when their threads are closed..
If you can tell them how 100% is achieved, they will be more than glad to assist you...Till then, be grateful that there are people here to monitor debatable threads...
