I forgot how much hougang was offered by sm goh, but I just now on tv, sitoh was promised $80million, coming from mah bow tan. Where $80million come from, i dunno. Probably some grc that don't need upgrading, or from spare change of your reasonably priced hdb flat. Also unveiled was plans for hougang 2016, wow another 2 elections away. Probably end up like the yishun hospital promised 10 years ago, which finally had its design plans revealed today!

This shows how afraid PAP are of the opposition... use money as carrot stick to lure people to vote. Shows how biased the gahmen are against opposition.

"Vote for PAP and vote for a modern urban lifestyle.
Vote for PAP or else we will cut the electric and water supply for the whole hougang and Potong Pasir.
We can only give you water and electricity if you opted for it. If you give us a clear sign that you really want them by voting for us.
Or else it will be very unfair to the other GRCs that voted for us. We will have to tell them "I'm sorry, you voted for us, but we have to give a bit of the water and electricity to those who didn't vote for us."
So if you still want your water and electricity, you have to let us know that you want it by voting for us."

I saw him on the news earlier.... he looks tired. Worried? I don't know.
I know his eye bags are bigger than marbles, that's for sure.
I kind of like GCT. I think he's a capable man, and he relaxed the Pappists' grip on the political scene a little while he was PM. Although just a little.
I hope he doesn't go down with the ship because of the fallout from PP and HG. It was a hopeless proposition to begin with, and it isn't his fault. -
