Ms Denise Phua, 46, is already quite well known – she is President of the Autism Resource Centre. She is married with 2 children. She has also been in volunteer work since 1999. Many admire her for her determination to help her child overcome his disability, and applaud her for sharing her knowledge and experience with other parents. What do you make of these new faces?
The youngest today is Mr Zaqy Mohamad, 31, a business consultant. He is married with 2 children. He was President of the NTU StudentsÂ’ Union. He too has been involved in grassroots work since 1999.
