Can poor and hungry singaporeans protect in emergencies?

  Most jobs as advertised in newspaper though they said will take in locals but most companies will take in more foreigners to lower costs. More than often they will say sorry, the job has been taken up to singaporeans.
  So how many jobless locals will face the fact of being jobless and wat more to protect the country in times of difficulties. Being hungry and jobless, how can one have the moral and strength to protect foreign assets.....

  know of some corporate organisations which hire mostly non singaporeans. Two of which i know hire them, the first had many retrenchment exercises which affects mainly locals and then they hire prc to the extent of sourcing them in China. The second corporation gave reasons that they cant find locals doing their job so that source ppl from JB.
