Just a piece of trivia, the filmmaker concerned, is quite well-known in the film production and post-processing scene.Originally posted by lwflee:I think its hardly fair to blame the imdividual policeman on the ground. Anyway, aside from the political merits of the documentary, part of me is glad that it was not shown at the film festival because as a film, it is decidedly abysmal.
Well, whatever his capabilities, this film is terrible.Originally posted by LazerLordz:Just a piece of trivia, the filmmaker concerned, is quite well-known in the film production and post-processing scene.
but alas, the film could have done with a bit more panache,still.. it's the message that counts.

Is easy to understand why some singaporeans hated CSJ. Reason very simple, is becos the media and newspaper kept showing the bad and mad side of him on tv (the one which he is on a lorry with his group shouting at one of the market place whereby GCT was oso there). I won't say i support CSJ, but i believe that PAPER APPLE PEPPER are not that good either...Originally posted by lwflee:Well, whatever his capabilities, this film is terrible.
But yea, the message is the important point here. I dunno why, but many Singaporeans seem to actually -hate- CSJ. Very odd...
