PAP has made it clear that the law against homosexuality will stay, as long as Singapore society rejects it. The Opposition parties have not made a stand. If you feel so strongly that it is your only election issue, vote PAP then.Originally posted by idwar:HOMOSEXUALS

neither presumptious u, nor pap, speak for singapore society. Any govt which endorses discrimination of this sort, is no better than Saddam's rule in Iraq.Originally posted by oxford mushroom:PAP has made it clear that the law against homosexuality will stay, as long as Singapore society rejects it. at this rate, we'll turn gay sooner or later.Originally posted by Fatum:in anycase I believe there's a study somewhere that shows people with strong homo-phobia feelings are actually latent homosexuals themselves ... because they perceive the homosexual feelings to be a violation of society's norms, they seek to suppress it by turning strongly and sometimes violently anti-homosexuals ......
out of the 10 people who've posted in here, 6 are definately against it, the stand of 2 cannot be clearly seen from their post, and only 2 are for it. So far the signs seems to be that more and more people are against homophobia. I would just remind u that u really have to stop pretending u represent "millions of singaporeans" because u're so far detached that u have no idea what any of us want. U assume what YOU want is what all singaporeans want, which is well far from it.Originally posted by oxford mushroom:Millions of Singaporeans may beg to differ...let's see if this even make it into an election issue. And what percentage of Singaporeans are posting here?Originally posted by HENG@:out of the 10 people who've posted in here, 6 are definately against it, the stand of 2 cannot be clearly seen from their post, and only 2 are for it. it is fair to assume that its a good representation of the way singaporeans think. unless of course, u are going to unfairly claim to yr advantage, that majority of the singaporeans who post here are anti-homophobia.Originally posted by oxford mushroom:And what percentage of Singaporeans are posting here?![]()
