Singaporeans don't dare to speak up for themselves, Why? No freedom of speech.. You say PAP bad then next thing you know the Govt starts watching you closely for ANY offence that you might commit

Off-Topic: Seriously the govt fails on many levels, Just look at the recent Commonwealth games.. How percent is Singaporeans? Those Singaporeans who never get to play next time no experience which makes those China PR obvious 1st choices which is the very reasons why Singaporeans don't say the pledge, Don't sing Mari Kita and always looking for means to pontang Army call-up
Even on Business level, Govt whole day nag nag for more competiveness from Singaporeans.. But we are too limited, Why? Every year 500k+++ people from USA alone graduate at the age of 20 to 23 with a DEGREE then get recruited by SG companies
Then Poly students graduate with a Diploma? By the time we get a Degree already 26 if no financial constraints
Like of course SG people want to leave the country for other opportunities because the Govt failed to realise that the source of problem is themselves
They should just cut down on the Foreigner Policies and allow Poly to offer 4 to 5 years of Degree programmes
And what's with Police officers patrolling shopping malls? Hello? By now they should realise that most problem kids hang out at void decks and basketball courts shooting and screaming like orang utan -
When a person got problem,whether is it appearance or attitude problem,you let him become a "King" also no use,he wont last long.If a person got no problem,you put him into any position he also can survive.
Judging from appearance,Lee Kuan Yew,Goh Chok Tong and Lee Hsien Loong got no problem.So what left in them is call "attitude problem".They always thought that becoz they are degree holders,becoz they are PAP leaders,becoz they are the few English graduates from their early days,they pronounce themself "Elites".(Elites my @ss).So they thought they can do whatever they want,whatever they like,without being punished!!!
Until recent decades,when discontent arises from the public,they got panic got try every dirty ways and means to win the election.And also,Lou Lee and Lou Goh try every means to die die also want to prolong their politician career after quitting PM by being MM and SM.Becoz they know that with this kind of F**King attitude problem,they will sure die if they went to private sector and work after quitting PM post.
The one i despise the most is Lou Goh,a dog which only know how to shake his bloody tail to the Lee family.Shameless,no backbone b@stard!!! -
It is good to be known as a democratic country to get a better reputation and international community respect and recognition.
Whether we are a democratic country can be assessed from the way we conduct the election, control freedoms of media reporting, accountability for ministers' failures or mistakes in implementing government policies etc and liberal use of defamation laws to sue the political opponents for speeches made during election, or control of internet and blogs to curb freedoms of expressions of opinions and views by the citizens (last freedom left since the press and public media are controlled and prohibited from so-called journalistic crusading).
It seems that in order to get legitimacy of government, we have to be known to the outside world as a democratic country even though by all the actions and policies are not being democratic in running the country. -

I understand that the Switzerland model of democracy has been withdrawn from the textbook. So who are infringing election laws or who are entering the counting station and who are electioneering outside election time. Have they been charged for infringements of election advertising law if such a law can be fair in the first place.
Will leaders comply with the same laws themselves before they want to pass more laws or enforce some electioneering laws. Are they willing to uphold laws so that all citizens will abide by the Rule of Law exhortation made by ministers.
Leaders will have to show that they can and will abide the same set of laws before they can talk about closing of blogs or internet presumably for electioneering. -

Is the leader of the Democracy - USA... a truly democratic country ?
Think again, It's in fact a Constitutional Republic... and strangely with only two noticable parties. Calling oneself truly democratic doesn't mean it so... when they can be bought , negotiated, lobbies controlled and downright corrupt. And not to mention.. fascism. -
