  PAP unveils electoral battlefields for its new candidates

  SINGAPORE : The electoral battlefields for all 24 new faces from the People's Action Party have been confirmed.
  
  PAP's Secretary General Lee Hsien Loong, who released the list at the Young PAP Rally on Saturday, says this is a group with diverse views and talents.
  
  They all share a sense of duty, a desire to serve, and a conviction that Singapore is worth fighting for, and he is confident they will do Singapore proud in the upcoming General Election.
  
  Two familiar faces are back - Sitoh Yih Pin will be sent to win back Potong Pasir for the PAP; while Eric Low is returning to Hougang for another battle.
  
  Denise Phua will be fielded in Jalan Besar GRC; while another new woman candidate Grace Fu will be sent to Jurong GRC.
  
  Meanwhile, Masagos Zulkifli will be a first-timer at Tampines GRC.
  
  Hong Kah GRC will be getting Zaqy Mohamad and Alvin Yeo, while Teo Ser Luck and Michael Palmer will make up the new faces at Pasir Ris-Ponggol GRC.
  
  In Holland-Bukit Timah GRC, Christopher James De Souza and Liang Eng Hwa are the first-time candidates.
  
  In Sembawang GRC, which Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan is leading and which the opposition has said it is contesting, Dr Lim Wee Kiak and Ellen Lee look set to experience the heat of the battle.
  
  Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC also has two new faces - Hri Kumar and Josephine Teo.
  
  Lee Yi Shyan, whom the Prime Minister says will be helping Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew develop links with Saudi Arabia, will be fielded in East Coast GRC.
  
  Jessica Tan is another new candidate there.
  
  Over in Tanjong Pagar GRC which is led by Mr Lee Kuan Yew, Rear-Admiral Lui Tuck Yew, Sam Tan Chin Siong and Baey Yam Keng replace the three MPs who are stepping down.
  
  Another constituency with major changes to the PAP team is Marine Parade GRC where there are four new faces - Dr Fatimah Lateef, Associate Professor Faishal Ibrahim, Seah Kian Peng and Lim Biow Chuan
  
  As for Ang Mo Kio GRC, which Prime Minister Lee is leading, Lee Bee Wah and Dr Lam Pin Min will be part of his six-member team. - CNA/de

  Hi,Lin Yu, do you know which opposition is going to contest AMK GRC ?
  They must be the strongest team to oust LHL out, it seem that LKY and GCT keep disturbing the CST & LTK opposition to challenge their long standing wards, I think is to distract attentions for the most powerful opposition to concentrate AMK GRC.
  I sence it is MM,SM & other Minister tricks, because no one mentioned about the fight in AMK GRC.
