Fallen trees and traffic chaos againnn.....

Time and again fallen trees are causing traffic chaos and damages to vehicles.
Aging trees that are humongous and with fragile branches together with a thunderstorm a recipe for hazards for road users.
Trees are great to env. but huge tree with logs weighing a ton so close to heavy traffic may pose a danger to traffic. That car almost got smashed up near Maju !
Roots of such trees like a mid-size tree trunk are breaking up the pavement .

Was quite impressed with some SIM students in yesterday Clementi Road fallen tree. They came under the rain to help SCDF clear the branches.
