So if PAP govt isnÂ’t any better (ie they are just as bad?) then any other govÂ… then why should PAP ministers be paid so much more then other countries ministers???
“STAYING TOGETHER, MOVING AHEAD” – not true when the way rich poor income gap is increasing. – PAP ministers lead in salaries by receiving CEO equivalent salaries.- while SGporean and foreigners fight for jobs and are the coolie workers… SG CEO is highly paid bc SGpore as a ‘company’ is cost effective bc of cheap abundant workforce, high productivity = big profits for top mgmt.- (but workers remain poorly paid).
Remember.. SG is only country w GRC systemÂ… so PAP gov has upper hand in elections.
Top salaries, self favoring election rules- SGporeans have been taken advantage of by their govt?
Hopefully Â… PAP top dollar intelligent Ministers can surely do a good job of making the elections fair
Otherwise why then pay top dollar for a gov that is no different from many others in terms of morals or performance?

MM Lee go on TV and admitted that he is a dishonorable man who only pretends to suscribe to the ideals of democracy. He admitted that he is just fooling everybody that he believes in democratic principles. What a sad old man.

Individual taxi drivers are sidelined in preference for taxi companies. Foreign workers are invited to replace Singapore workers... or instead of paying Singapore workers more, foreign workers are invited to do the job for cheaper... and so on and so forth.. -

It's a fair statement and i'm glad he addressed it. No govt will willingly aid their opponents. In fact, if the APs are canny enough, they could use legitimate cases such as time lags and obstacles 'set by HDB' in attempts to performing upgrading as a strong indication of bias against them to help gain as much political mileage and win sympathy votes.
By setting the bar so high, it will take a special team extra effort to overcome and win an election.
When that happens, you can be assured that this challenger is well qualified and capable to run a govt. Intrinsically, MM Lee has set a prerequisite for opposition parties to meet. -

Truth is, if there is so much malcontent with the PAP, feel free to vote for the other party. In fact, feel free to join any opposition parties and lend them your support if you are in a uncontested zone.
What MM Lee said is very true. The only reason why there is any lack of success by the opposition is that everyone has a good life here and have no reason to support the opposition.
If there is widespead unhappiness, then will you see more people supporting the opposition. And if PAP has really fallen short in delivering to the people, you might even find current MPs forming their own parties.
Do you really honestly think that being a MP gives a good life? It's not easy, and you find most MPs' children not even considering a path like that. -

Have you played in games or chess before...? 'Democratic' is just a pulling screen... From the way I personally see it, it's just part of the tools they use to get to what they want... Constantly 'selling you dreams' (YES.. The word is 'SELL' because END UP you'll STILL have to PAY FOR IT despite whatever you've contributed....) and PRESSING your 'FEAR BUTTONS'....
