TAIPEI MAYOR TO VISIT SINGAPORE MAY 6-9

Taipei, April 26 (CNA) Taipei Mayor Ma Ying-jeou will leave for Singapore May 6 for a three-day visit at the invitation of the Singapore government, city officials said Wednesday.
Ma will exchange views with Singaporean officials on a range of topics, including wireless broadband Internet connectivity, fight against official corruption, economic development and urban renewal, the officials said.
During his visit, Ma will meet with Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and other senior officials. Ma, who doubles as main opposition Kuomintang, is scheduled to return May 9.
