WP Rally

I went to the WP rally at Hougang earlier. I was late. only reached at around 9pm. I am shocked by the number of people. It looks more like a concert then a getai.
The crowd is a sea of heads. I cannot approach close enough to see the candidates/stage. The sound system is not good. Can't hear clearly from where I am.
But the atmosphere is electrifying. Hope that wp can get more support. -

Dunno which candidate was talking about healthcare, then more jobs can be created, price of medicine, etc etc. Couldn't hear very much, but the dialect speeches were loud and clear, and brought the most cheers and laughter.Originally posted by Pronewbie:What were they talking about then? -

The Channel 8 was showing a Live Footage of the WP Rally a few minutes.
Sad to say, the chants "Workers Party" was too LOUD and Clear that they have to closed the transmission early.

I have not had the opportunity to visit any rally yet. Hopefully when WP holds one in AMK i will visit.
So far, from what i cover in the papers, Sylvia Lim has successfully rebutted and retorted most if not all of the PAP's assertions. For the first time, since catherine lim, i have seen a lady who is both capable and eloquent. Her delivery has been precise and well-measured.
I especially like the way she handled the issue on untried and untested candidates.

All media pro-pap one lar...must understand...after all they are the head of the country...even though my area don't need to vote...i might go one WP rally...hope WP can win a GRC and make PAP stress out...

You must go and listen to Sylvia Lim messages, I had followed all WP rallies and paid very much of my attention to every single words from her.
She speaks short and sharp, belly of fires.
I'm so glad to see we finally have a strong lady to chair WP and assisting LTK.
She must get into Parliament to perform and to show PAP her capabilities. -

After watching and following the Election news, I realised that most of the Ruling Party candidates reacted snobbishly against the opposition candidates on relating the opposition candidates with lousy quality due to their education qualification.
They have tagged the opposition candidates as terrorist who attacked the SMC and GRC for the next nine days.
The most funny remarks made by Ruling Party Candidates was about the opposition candidates in "making their appearance to the residents suddenly after missing for five years."
He have forgot to include himself and the rest of his fellow comrades on that remarks. -
