Instead of spending time going around thanking his contituient for a walkover, he goes round picking on other's flesh. PAP's standard protocols, always back up your comrades, whether wrong or not. -

1. From the east coast Macdonalds, walk towards the direction of Changi Airport and Bedok Jetty. Alternatively, at the Mac, stand facing the sea. Turn to your left and walk...
2. Walk past some tennis courts and across a canal and you should see the rally. -

The opposition should use the $388m the gov paid out to the our local telco and was unable to recover the money thru court proceedings. So who made a bigger boo boo? No mentioned of the losses they incurred in Suzhou?
They keep harping, voters are going to vote the "too lan pio"...

It is indeed a massive turnout. I was there with my wife. We were too far away. Cannot even listen. sound system too bad. but crowd is really there...Originally posted by kilua:

I think singaporeans want to listen to opposition. But if we really want change, we must vote where we go and listen!

I am afraid I have to be a spoilt sport to give a logical and balance up view on an assumption here. The large crowds at the rally site of the opposition parties may not warrant high or confirmative votes. This is a psychological presumption.
Generally, spectators there can be subdivded into various categories. Namely, Watchers, Listeners, Bypassers, Retirees. People are more often than not attracted by new thing or new alternative voices. However, this does not automatically means that citizens have rendered their support or are fed up with the imcumbent government.
I would urge my fellow Singaporeans to vote wisely yet to keep an open mind irregardless of the election results.

Since you like to give balanced views, you dont you write to channel news asia or SPH and give your balanced views and tell them to stop their biased reporting.
You can fool all people some of the time, but you cant fool all the people all the time! -
So how was the WP Rally @ East Coast? I'm guessing a lot of people didn't go because it's quite inaccessible (Must take bus walk 20 - 30 mins) to rally site...
Wanted to go today.. Guess tmr I'll go since it'll be at Tampines SAFRA area also meant for EC GRC. -
just came back from pap rally at same location in hougang. Due to the rain, i tink the crowd is oni one quarter of the worker party crowd last night

U are always tempted to go hear what they say, especially as u hear nothing during the years prior to the election. And then the opposition, thinking that just because so many people attend their rallies, will feel confident only 2 discover on polling day that people still believe in PAP.
