MM Lee has made many claims in the past including in replies to international media that he was returned election after election showing that the people support his many policies including perhaps, press control, GRC. defamation suits against political oppositions, tax-and-recover system of charging people for essential government services, elitist education and public service recruitment, pro-foreign employment and investment policies etc.
Is it true that people are giving him all these mandates as claimed by him. Or is it the he has allowed himself to be carried away that he has all these unlimited power to increase costs of living and hardships for some faraway benefits to all which citizens cannot see.
