Anyone know what happen at Woodlands Stadium for Sembawang GRC?
Any news... For those who were there, any comment? -
I went for the tampines rallies by SDA and pap.
There is a bigger crowd at the SDA rally than the pap one. -

Who wouldn't cry with the issue that will affect him and his family. my symapthy to them but my saluatation to their guts for standing up.

It is just natural for ppl to attend the opposition rally, I mean the know what the PAP has to offer, but the opposition is largely unknown to them. Furthermore, it'll be a 'breath of fresh air' apart from our daily lives - which I must say in Singapore is largely routine and mundane. So, I believe a larger turn out will not neccessary translate into votes for the opposition.

Opposition rallies are pulling the big crowds, unlike past General Elections.
There is strong interests in the Opposition parties than before.
I believe Singaporeans want to see a change in our politics where the fear factor discourages any aspiring politician who are viewing things differently from the Government.
This is a good sign that our electorades are maturing and will judge things for themselves based on personal experience. They will
not be persuaded by Government propagandas in local TV and newspapers.
Singaporeans are very much aware that our local medias are highly regulated
and controlled, as such cannot be depended for unbiased and honest reporting.
So, many go to opposition rallies to hear the truth and see if the oppositions
are as wicked as PAP make them out to be at the slightest opportunity PAP gets.
The Gomez unitentional slip is an example. PAP ministers, aided by Channel News Asia, are now having a field day misinterprating and exaggerating an honest, election-stressed mistake. PAP's bully tactic s will not go down well with the younger and knowledge-based voters!
But sadly, this is the outdated mentality of PAP's aging 'first world'
government leaders! -

PAP seem to fullfil all my wishes...
People who vote for PAP usually is those one who complain about the raises in transport, gst blah blah blah...those changes usually take place in the first year...after 4 years, the voter forget all those increases...
