To uphold rule of law, it would be necessary to reform the current much-gerrymandered electoral system and the Constitution of Singapore so as to increase mass participation in running the country in all fields and endeavours.
What are your views ?
I feel that preferential voting should be incorporated. For that to happen, we need to dismantle ALL the GRCs and allow multi-cornered fights in each SMC.
Since we claimed to be a first world government and a first world global city, and so dependent on USA,
it is time to change our outdated consititution to be on par
with the rest of the global economies.
For starters -
no prime minister should serve more than 2 terms in office!
The national union, NTUC, should be a separate entity,
free from Government influence and control.
There are some more outdated consitutions that badly needs
overhauling, it will take a book to talk about them.
