frankly speaking...this is how i see...both PAP and the OPPOSITION consist of CHINESE....it doesnt matter who wins..since both r chinese..they have the same way of doing things...which is to make the ppl work while they will sit on their rich ass gettin all da $$$......i have worked with chinese company...its the same...the employees r made to work...wid minimum wages...minimum leaves...and minimum everythin...while the boss keep all da extra money...if u look at other chinese countries..isnt it all the same?? the citizen all seem stressed up...lol... cant u chinese ppl learn how to chill?? and not think bout wealth 24/7

i met a PAP supporter today. he is so arrogant and nonsensical, kept calling names and feeling right doing all the wrong, empowered by the bullying powers of his PAP masters ... as with many PAP supporters i've come across, you haven't got the slightest of humilities which is the hallmark of a respectable person.
singaporeans need good singaporean leaders - not necessarily PAP. for PAP ultimately is composed of singaporeans. so if you give a chance for the opposition to grow a little, they will attract their fair share of good singaporeans. only then will we have a first world opposition to keep our 'self proclaimed' (can you get any more shameless than that? proclaiming a title for yourself?) rulers. -
There are two types of people; those who have succeeded in life through the system, and those who did not succeed in life BECAUSE of the system.
So, in all likelihood, those who succeeded through the system will surely vote for PAP.
But I did not succeed through the system, I succeeded on my own. Fortunately for them, where I live I need not vote.
MM can say anything he so pleases, importantly we must know who or what we each individually really are and stand for.
You can't demand an apology from Him, He is capable and therefore He holds fast his opinions and views. -

Who told you that politics is a career? Only in Singapore do we get people who 'serve' the country and make it a career. Go look at USA. They really serve the country. Small country like ours pay our ministers higher salaries than even USA. So ridiculous. -

The PAP can only self-implode with time, so no one should really bother about continuing to oppose it, if credible opposition cannot be found.

Your view of a good governmance is swallow !! During election, we are talking about check and balance to a one party government, transparency to the management of national wealth currently controlled by one family, we cannot afford another saga like the NKF. we are talking about those who don't have, those who have to stretch every dollars, those who have to pay medical bills for sick old folks at home.... We are not talking about providing for those who have the 5Cs, I tell you the ministers all have 100Cs.
Do you think a one party should be given absolute liberty in running singapore ?, whether they are PAP or WP? Is there no room for opposition parties to voice opposing views in Singapore? Do you think ministers who demand equivalent outside MNC CEO pay really feel what the poor are going through? it is easy to say "they understand".
If you have indeed travelled everywhere, you should have a broad outlook than what you have expressed so far.

It is ever so easy for one to crticize someone else's work, but being able to point out the flaws doesn't necessarily mean that one can take over and perform the job better. The opposition parties have brought out many convincing arguments on the loopholes and inefficiency of the PAP's system of government, but if you decide to vote for them just based on their arguments, please consider whether they themselves are up to the job. Will they mess things up instead?
We all know that movie critics have got lots to say about movies, of which some comments are really true and accurate, but does that mean that these critics can be good actors and directors themselves? -

Singaporeans are get talker about dollar and cents but when it comes to politics, it's has little or non sense
