I being to worry..Singapore is warm and wet..(Humid).
I read the article on eggs / chicken farm in singapore. I realised that we better get rid of it. Buy more expensive eggs is better than to take the risk of H5N1.
I suggest to get rid of it.
Meantime, sorry all bird lover, please do that for singaporean.
The ministry may want to ban all pet birds in singapore and also allow us to volunteer to shot on site. I don't want singaporean life to be risked because of the small amount of economic. It's is no worthed for the small amount. Sorry birdie, we love you. We loved singapore more.. -
Heard about another case happened in other country on the radio. I suggest the authorities to seriously look into moving the chicken farm totally from singapore. Let the 3rd world countries to produce eggs for us.
Our life is more expensive then the amount of eggs produced by the few eggs farm here. Does it make sense to keep them further here, unless we are sure that they will be harmless.
Foreigner investors will also worried when they know that singapore also have a "time bomb" here. Don't you think so?
Still needed to plan for this?

All pet birds must go for regular medical checks and collect $$ from their owners for flu injections.

How sure are we? If the eggs are produced in any 3rd World Countries. Still got risks, if you had read the manmake eggs from China. Only Australia's egg can buy.
