'Quitters' contributed by PAP?

I also want to leave if they continue this way.
I think this is a serious issue.
They are driving many local talents away.
Most of my frens who had migrated are phds holders and real talented people. -

but at least i'll agree with u that PAP are the ones who are causing people to be driven away, and then they tack the label of 'quitters' on them. Its a bit like, they simply cannot see how to attract people to stay and bring out their loyalty thru reasonable means. Obviously labelling people who leave quitters are an act of frustration because they cannot 'strong-arm' people into staying, not after the sort of things they do. Its a sign of a weakness and helplessness on their part and it only makes them look worse. -
Thats why they introduce the Direct-to-JC programme.
At least, I will not give up without a fight.

In sg its hard to gain any sort of influence unless you join their party. Or in rare cases like Catherine Lim, u get regarded with a degree of hostility on their part. But even influential people like her can't do much against a wall of silence on the inside.
There are loads of 'quitters' who genuinely hope things would improve enough that they might be proud to tell their children their roots and origins, and are working hard to help bring about change. -

How are chaos created ? Are chaos caused by receiving views, suggestions and feedbacks and attending to them?
Even in the many examples about chaos in certain countries, it is because their leaders refused to listen and want to stick to their past concepts and assumptions that finally there were chaos like in Thaksin's Thailand. Such chaos in Thailand reflect rebellion against autocracy and autocratic behaviours but the way they were quoted to citizens it was falsely presented as caused by democracy. Do our leaders tell the truths?
Sometime, we wonder whether our new highly educated MPs and minister potential can do anything to change the autocracy and let them understand such fundamentals and basics since they are the scholars with the highest degrees and job status. -
Excelent point my friend. I do not believe that men that have never questioned the system, and have profited from conformity within the system can ever be a substantial enough voice of the people. The elite folk that speak for today are llike farmers herding their sheep, protecting it them from the wolves only to slaughter them for personal gain.

Theres no more Communism propositions or other drastic ideals.
Somehow it give sme a feeling MMLee is still living in the 60s.
Using past methods and ideals on a 2000s century world.
