Trust me, you'll feel better after that. There's no point voting. The opposition does not have resources to rule, the current ruling party is giving out more crap with each passing year. -

Is that a corruption?
Corruption is NOT merely about the taking of undertable money alone.. A truly innovative but GREEDY politician can circumvent that easily by legimitising 'undertable corruption'(illegal) in more ways than one when absolutely power is gained ie a grossly overpaid income (legal)..
Being the highest paid politicians in the world that is NOT proportionate to the size of the country (be it geographically or demographically) governed or the GDP it produces in comparison to others in the world, I proclaimed PAP style is legalised corruption..
In democracy, people can hold their govt accountable for their actions, but the moment you do that in singapore, you will be identify, arrest without a trial, make a bankrupt or worse, sent you to IMH for observation.. -

Fil Low, a 20-year-old shop assistant at I Nuovi Cosmetics, averages two hours overtime a day but still only makes S$ 900 a month. "We do not really enjoy our life because of our schedule," she said. "We can only really go out about two or three times a month. It is not an enjoyable life. Professionals have a good life. For us, it is just making a living."
Lion, 52, drives his taxi a minimum of 12 hours a day, seven days a week. He never goes to a cinema, bar or to see friends. "I am just too tired and not in the right mood. I work all the time but I still cannot support my family properly," he said, without disclosing his monthly earnings.
Razman, 30, works as a security guard at a Carrefour supermarket during the day and as a personal trainer in a gym three nights a week. That's why I'm getting tired of it already. Used to be interested in elections, but not anymore. Read in another forum, some stated Animal Farm. Very true indeed. A balance is needed. How do we vote?
This was how we vote 40 years ago,
We used to admire the party PAP
Because of its sincerity and helpfulness
Because it understood the people's needs,
It created jobs and provided people
Low-cost housing at costs,
So we voted PAP to power
Even let their ministers reward themselves handsomely
Millions of salaries, the world highest minister salaries,
But today after such powers and rewards,
Has it kept the promises to upgrade standard of living,
Has it governed with values and uprightness,
Has it understood people's wants and needs
Has it solved problems with humility,
Has it restructured country to a value-adding economy,
Will it understand with their highest ministers' salaries
That the economy is ailing year by year,
That citizens are sacrificed like pawns in recessions
And made to pay higher and higher costs
And made to struggle with lifelong home mortgage
Where jobs are getting scarcer,
Citizens are crying out for solutions of problems,
For checks on their monies spent overseas
For their monies to be spent to grow the economy,
For their monies to be spent on their own citizens
Not on some foreign talent or foreign opportunities
Today, People want accountability and transparency,
On Highway collapse or NKF or unsolved problems,
Not the arrogance and denials of problems,
Not the defamation law suits to no end,
People want self-reliance and rooms to grow creativity
People want to vote for choice, fredoms and opportunitie,
To bring about a socially and economically competitive society.
