I wonder why so many seats.

Singapore population, 4 million. 84 seats.
1 seat represent roughly 48000 people.
Canada population, 30 million, 282 seats.
1 seat about 107,000 people.
Land area, no need to argue, canada world 2nd largest country.
Why do we need so many seats? To feed PAP MPs? -
Our parliament is a huge building, any lesser and it'll become a white elephant.

But their electoral boundaries are quite fixed with changes rare. Even changes are made to make better representation and not for party's gain.
Sgp just made their changes too obvious for their advantage. -

Give more seats, People still say PAP want to let more of their members into the government/parliament.

1 very important thing to note, do Singapore need so many Ministers of State & Senior Ministers of State??? Do Singapore really need so many extra ministers??? I thought that the Ministers are supposed to do the jobs.

Did you know Li Ao 2 weeks ago reiterated and clarified what he meant by calling SIngaporeans stupid?
He said that some singaporeans isn't happy to be called to stupid. But Li Ao said that's not what he meant, he meant that after meetin LKY during a China conference, he said LKY is a good person.
Just that ppl are stupid enough to keep him in power. -
Scholars are driven to perform.
So Singapore has a lot of world's first ideas which are both good and original.
But the idea that is good is not original and the idea that is original is not good.
Is the casino idea good? Sure it is if it's about generating more revenues but it is not original. -
More the better meaning our voice can be heard louder... 1 taking care of 48000 already like that. Imagine you are just one of the 100000 hmmm... GRC is in a way helping PAP I think. I wonder how is the synergy of the combi of MPs.
