I can understand your purpose of the crusade against gambling.
I may even emphatise with your drive against religion.

At this moment, while preparing to leave for church (some changing, others bathing, others surfing the net) my family is planning for our year end vacation. I will definitely bring my boys into the hotel lobbies which has plenty of slot machines. We will talk about it and the ills it brings, plus learning something about mathematical probablity of winning in such establishments... following that we will go for our buffet. -

you know what.... I am not one of those who subscribe to the belief that there are such things (which doesn't mean that others cannot have such beliefs). I believe that addiction is a big issue, not just gambling, but porn, alcoholism, drugs etc.
it's my aim to mentor my children so that they can mentor theirs. To me there is a bigger issue than gambling - it's worldliness. -

Sadly some suspect this God is a God who can never affect or break through the physical realm in any possible way. Hence Christianity is quite worthless in fighting any physical evil that comes along... why not we all just be seccular humanists? It's that more sensible?

Interesting, but then who should we listen to Him then, if he can only request that i act as his proxy? What can he do if i choose to listen to myself? Why should I listen to Him?
