Any one remember what is the vote for PAP in the 2001 election? 75%? Support for PAP have dropped? Currently they have 66% for vote. Do you call 66% a strong mandate?
Quote from Reporter.
"Bear in mind 2001 was an exceptional year. That year the economy was doing badly, and the PAP asked the people to support them to push Singapore thru the crisis." Then he proceeded to say that we should compare against years where it was 60+%, so PAP did well
wah lau... support drop just accept it. Typical govt mentality. Refuse to accept the fact that people are upset.
This is the wrong place to concentrate on the positives and forget about the negatives.
