Increase in transport charges?

i have the impression that many companies in singapore have no business sense.
the only way they know to increase profit is by retrenchment and price hike. -
It is the operating cost very high these day...all gov depts charge certain fee on all kind of fark, land cost over priced. the gov can't bring the cost of housing down but to proposed IR-casinos to escalate the properties to another level of hike. Eventually, the poors will be extinct from singapore.
