Why are our Christian Ministers/ MPquiet over Da Vinci?

Can't understand why our Christian Ministers/MPs are so quiet over the screening of the movie, Da Vinci Code in S'pore?
Aren't they supposed to speak up for Christians like what our MM said they are elected to do when GRCs in elections are first introduced, just like what the Malay Ministers/MPs are doing for their Muslim community issues? -

it just a movie. it meant to create entertainment.
why bother about it since all else church think it rubbish. this is one of many conspiracy theory that cant be proven and probably will never be proven.

its mostly fiction, as Dan Brown has acknowledged.
as for the bits about the Church committing attrocities, that is true, if anyone cares to go do research. But most xtians cannot face up to the fact that their religion has been responsible for acts of volence as big as or even greater in scale than modern day genocides happening in Africa. Especially the Vatican. they alone have the blood of billions on their hands.
anyways i don't see anything bad about the movie. they even potrayed robert langdon as a man who believes in Jesus(he prayed to him when he fell down that well) and who sees faith as more important than the truth(when he said that if u knew u're the decendent of Christ, would u destroy faith or renew it?)
so really, whats there to kick up a fuss about? Esp from a group of people who do not have the guts to face the truth about them being responsible for most of the violence in mankind's history. -

To me personally, this would means "His claim is He is protraying real facts using fictional characters"
I think if this FACTS page is not there in the book, most people would not have any issue with the book. -

Simply religious harmony... Its a equal society of all religion not just Christians... Secondly don't you seen enuff news and documentary on our local tv and papers that already tells you the code is fiction!!??? If you would still get misleaded then maybe you should go bang yourself... Treat it as a fiction lah entertainment purpose... What else you could do? start a holy war?

thing is, we make our own decisions... at Mass, the Parish Priest said very simply, "you all know the movie is out, some of you would have probably gone to watch it already, anyway, we've gotten some copies of a write-up by *** (i forgot who) about the truth behind what is said in the book, you can have one copy per family and collect it on the way out"
simple as that...
frankly, the book bored me to hell after a few pages, the "fact page" is filled with crap, and the story, i heard was infantile...
there you have it... why should anyone make noise about it?
