Recently, one of Sg's mp told and encouraged a 17yo girl who commented on his talk at her sch to speak up and continue voicing, after she blasted him. Her parents, teachers, fellow classmates, friends, etc told her to be careful of what she says as they may land her into trouble. She brushed 'em aside and continued voicing out her displeasure.
But with a f*ckin' conservative mentality, we're in no position to speak.
For youths to speak up, whatever we say, we'll land our a*ses in jail.
I guess Singapore would hardly make any progress so long as it continues to disregard Sg's future voices.
Hovering on this topic.. what is race/religion when in fact, we have to accept segregation (for eg: - stating: chinese only, affluent in chinese job ads, in NS it has always been 98% Malays unable to promote to high ranks, being a malay, you will never earn much anyway, generally speaking) yet promote racial harmony? We can't have the best of both worlds.
Why do terrorism always have to do with anything Muslim or Islamic?
Does the kuran say only Islam will rule the world?
Does the kuran promote only killings, so as to rid the world of anti-muslim people? WTF?!
Why are Muslims so sensitive towards issues regarding their religion?
Why do they resort to violent protests to voice out their displeasure? ok... generally speaking: VIOLENCE. See Indonesia
FOR WHAT F*CK?! We don't see other race/religion sparking a controversy, making a mountain out of a molehill, and using violence all the time to stand for their religious rights?
Another incident.
A Malay man borrowed money from a Chinese man and refused to return him the money, but when finally kindly asked for the 3rd time, he returned. The point is; he has money to buy some stupid 'luxurious' stuff.
Have you no shame?
The same malay man was on the phone and asked the same chinese man to wait for him under the hot sun while he was on the phone. There was no shelter. And the malay man continued to talk on the phone and not even apologising and signalling to the Chinese man to wait for awhile.Completely ignoring his existence. What's this? Irresponsibility, inconsideration?
And after work, the malay man scolded the chinese man and rant: 'why didn't you wait for me? I talk awhile only right?! What if my house got urgent matters?' The chi man retorted ' i don't wanna argue with you. you expet me to wait like fool under the hot sun is it?' The malay man said: why?! why don't talk? anything not happy just say lah! you scared ar? You go report to xxx (head supervisor) lah! aiya.. F*ck off lah!' The chinese man was fuming and walked away.
The malay man is infamous for coming to work late and leaving early and often taking off for no rhyme or reason, or rather, cooking up lame excuses so as to escape from work. Now what's this? The final straw?
His malay supervisor told the Chinese man to relax and forget about the matters? and not only that, he blamed the chi man for being too impatient! Pakak sia.. ('inter-conspiracy') But the head supervisor who is a chinese blamed both of 'em.. quite rather unfairly though, but told 'em to shake hands and make peace.
The Chinese man's friend who is an indian went to look for a job. They met incoincidentally and stroke up a convo, and the indian man asked the chinese man 'are there any malays working here?'
The chinese man replied 'yes, got a lot of malays'.
The indian man immediately went back to the company and said he don't wanna work already, even though he got a high-ranking post as a head supervisor.
But still, people do not see eye-to-eye.
I'm not trying to stir up any unwanted controversies or caused any trouble, which may cause racial disharmony.
No offence intended though.
peace.
In Singapore there is no freedom of speech if u talk about race and religion, so this is sensitive topic, better dont discuss, they can charge u for racial disharmony, even though we know that malays cant mix with chinese or chinese cant mix with indians because they prefer to mix with their own race due to same culture and so on
